A snapshot of July:
*House church and July 4th party
*Highchair given to a family with a 3-year-old autistic child
*Uganda team meeting (Our team is excited to go! Money is being raised NOW! Consider helping us to meet our financial goal of $28,000)
*One trip to a rehab appt. for a friend with a knee injury and no car
*We moved a daughter home
*Keith met with our Pastor about how to promote HLH and get partners.
*Went to the Youth Development Center (Jenga was played, A life story was shared, and kids were talked to and prayed for! We are planning a CARNIVAL for August! This is an easy way to make a difference in a child’s life! Join us and run a game or food booth!
*We now have an “official” HLH phone-#717-891-2599
*We have a new brochure made by our friend Morgan
In many ways it feels like we are moving full speed ahead while standing still! Can anyone relate? We are working at making HLH stronger in PA while praying and planning for our Uganda trip while keeping up with ministry and family all at the same time! We are so grateful to our God and His faithfulness to us as we continue to Rest in His Timing yet Work at what He has Given us to Do at the same time. Heidi Baker (Iris Global Ministries) once said, “Rest while you Run and Run while you Rest”. It seems to sum up what we are doing right now!
What lies ahead for Heavens Light House? Good question! Keep reading our newsletters and you will find out! Listed below are our fundraisers, the yard sale is going to be great! Lots of items and a BBQ food truck! What more could you want? How about sno-cones and baked goods? Our Uganda team, which now includes Angie and Elijah Folkenroth, will be there through out the sale. Come on out!

Fundraisers:
YARD SALE w/Mac’s Pit Stop FOOD TRUCK! August 19th and 20th @ HLH 8:00am-4:00pm (food truck will be there between 11:00-2:00 Friday and 9:00-2:00 Saturday)
Sub/Sandwich Sale run by Tree of Hope Ministries. Orders collected October 1st-14th and will be delivered October 21st.
Scentsy scent circles-$3.00/ea.
Boscov’s Friends Helping Friends Day-October 16th. A $5.00 donation receives a 25% off everything in the store that day and a chance to win a $100 gift card.
HLH store: Apparel, Candles (various shapes, sizes, and scents) and other products with HLH logo
Spaghetti Dinner/Silent Auction-November 19th
Prayer Requests:
*For a new storage place large enough to put the furniture, household goods and clothing out for people to easily view
*Continue to pray for the kids at YDC and for us when we go visit them. We want to see these kids experience God and to want Him in their lives.
* Uganda trip! Continue to pray for us to work out details and raise the funds needed If you would like to donate to that specific ministry, please mark your donations accordingly. Also, for our Uganda trip to be fully paid for and for the finances to purchase land. We have 3 potential properties with the cost estimated between $5,000-$15,000
*Please pray for more volunteers to want to help us with the various aspects of HLH
